Welcome to the St J's Group

The St J's Group covers the Anglican parish churches of St John's Peasedown, St Julian's Wellow, St James' Foxcote and St Julian's Shoscombe and is named after our three patron saints.

We are four church families who seek to work together with our fellow Christians to extend the 'Kingdom of God' in our locality. We are a warm, friendly, vibrant and growing group that loves to welcome new people. We are passionate about the Gospel being preached and for God's power to be released through us and in our communities. We hold a weekly prayer meeting which is the power house for all we do. We offer every Sunday a range of worship styles from informal to the more traditional and during the week we seek to develop and grow our Christian communities through a variety of mid week activities.

Numbers have always been significant in the Bible. Many readers would be forgiven for thinking that the use of numbers in the Bible is purely random but this cannot be further from the truth. During 2012 we shall be challenged in the St J's Group to dig deeper and understand more clearly the symbolism and structure of the divine numeric code. As we do so we shall draw closer to God the author of the Bible and His message and intent for mankind. Do join us week by week as we seek to understand the importance of the numbers: One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven, Eight, Ten, Twelve and Forty in the Bible.
