Going Deeper in Prayer - Monday 9th January 2012

Church goers in the Peasedown St John area have the chance to explore their spiritually deeper with the help of a brand new monthly group.  Called ‘Soul Food Deeper’, the group will meet on 9th January in St John’s Church – and thereafter on the first Monday of the month.  The Church’s new Administrator and Worship Pastor Hywel Carr, who has been working with Vicar, Revd Matthew Street to set up the new group, believes it will offer those attending the chance to delve deep into Christian teachings and biblical thought. He said:  “The Christian life has many parts to it. As well as being active in our communities and serving others we need to ensure that we’re fully charged spiritually and continue to grow strong relationships with God.  Each month, Soul Food Deeper will explore different issues such as healing, worship, Holy Communion and prophecy.  In January, we’ll be looking closely at prayer.”  Soul Food Deeper be held in St John’s Church, Peasedown on Monday 9th January at 7.30pm.
