Welcome to St John’s Church, Peasedown

Welcome to St John's Peasedown

We seek to provide for the needs of everyone here in Peasedown St John and we welcome you to take part in one of our two services: 9am and 4.30pm. These services offer something for everyone ranging from the traditional to the more informal.  Life is challenging in today’s world, many of us will at some time have experienced guilt, loneliness, anger, uncertainty about God’s existence, stress, failure, depression, rejection, and confusion about our future.  The authors of the book of Psalms also experienced these feelings.  Please join us week by week as we journey with them, and gain valuable insight as they struggle with these experiences of life.

The Parish Churches, which both come under the leadership of Matthew Street, have decided to kick off the Christmas season by celebrating the 40th anniversary of the popular Christingle – which is now used in school plays and children’s nativities all over the world.

    • CHURCHES IN PEASEDOWN ST JOHN AND WELLOW have been given an extra pair of helping hands with the arrival of a new Vicar. Revd Richard Fothergill, who has led Churches in Bath, Bristol and as far away as Cape Town in South Africa has been appointed to work with Church Leader Revd Matthew Street following an increase in Church growth.
